Plus: TikTok's STEM feed, Meta Verified launches
F*ck.
I’m running on 2 hours of sleep after binging 9 episodes of The Glory (never start a series before going to bed)
The show’s that good though. Check it out to see some dark, dark Korean thriller action (anyone notice the trend of dramas being more unfiltered?)
We’re gonna try something new and focus on one topic today (totally not because I’m struggling to find new trends over the weekend 🙄)

How does Ryan Reynolds approach social media? 🎥
1/ Social media strategy of the greatest (don’t quote me) celebrity entrepreneur ever?
Ryan Reynolds is no stranger to the spotlight.
Ryan Reynolds, the man himself
From Adventureland to the Deadpools, he’s been headlining films for over 15 years. At this point, undoubtedly a household name in the movie scene.
He made news again last week when Mint Mobile sold to T-Mobile at a value of $1.3 billion.
Ryan Reynolds has a payday
I took a closer look, and it’s not his first entrepreneurial rodeo 🙅🏽
He sold Aviation Gin in 2020 for $610 million (is he more of a businessman or an actor at this point?)
He’s absolutely killing it in business, and a large part of his success is his Social Media presence. There has to be some kind of formula behind how he approaches his companies?? (yes, there is)
Turns out that he’s a natural marketing genius.
Let’s take a peek, shall we? 👇
He’s purposefully embedded as the ‘face of the brand’ for all his ventures 📲

He uses trends to stay in tune with the crowd 🤩
@vancityreynolds Wishing you touching moments today. Happy Valentine's Day.
Yeah, he’s funny as f*ck (he really has it all 🤣)

✍️ Summing it up
It’s no surprise Ryan Reynolds is so wildly successful in his business ventures.
He’s funny, willing to be the face of the brand, and creates content based on the latest trends to stay relevant to the crowd.
90% of his ads are simply him, delivering a script on camera. Simple, sincere, and deceptively deliberate (no fancy production necessary).
Oh, let’s not forget his massive reach (100 million with TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter alone) with his socials and films.
He’s essentially the best influencer a business could have.
Looking forward to he has in store for us next! (p.s. he seems very invested in his football team these days 👀)
